Netizens attempt to expose 'rich teen' as a fake
by Stomp|09 April 2013

United States - Imagine having so much money, you do not know what to do with it other than flaunting your wealth online and doing outrageous things like buying iPhone 5s in bulk just because you feel like it.

Another ridiculous antic is tying US$4,000 ($4,955) to a balloon then releasing it.

A 17-year-old from San Francisco, who calls himself Lavish, is one such person.

According to a report on newsworldtoday.blogspot, the teen appears to spend his days showing off his luxurious lifestyle and enormous wealth online.

He has 96k followers on Instagram, and posts pictures accompanied by captions such as, "'My life is like Louis Vuitton, everyone wants it,' and, 'You made ur bed so sleep in it peasants.'

He claims to only wash his hands with Pellegrino sparkling mineral water and only uses expensive gold-plated staples.

In one YouTube video, Lavish can be seen counting stacks of US$100 dollar bills 'to make himself feel good'.

In an Instagram post, he offers to give away US$60,000 ($74,000) to one of his followers.
