Singapore - Rodial is one of our favourite under-the-radar brands for radical skincare products - we adore the Glamoxy snake range of wrinkle-freezing topical products, which blend the scientifically advances of near-prescription grade cosmeceuticals with the celebrity-baiting allure of exotic ingredients.
The Glamoxy serum (shown above), with its synthetic "neuropeptide" that simulates the potent effects of viper venom, works well for days when our fatigued skin requires pepping up - and now, we can get our "Botox in a bottle" massaged into our faces as part of a new series of facials at Sccube the Apothecary.
Two treatments are available at the wellness centre: the Rodial Instant Tone Facial and Rodial Signature Facial. The former is, as its name suggests, an express session targeted at the lunchtime crowd.
Meanwhile, the Rodial Signature is an intensive anti-aging facial that incorporates a massage that encourages lymphatic drainage and a 15-minute zap of radiofrequency for instant plumping and lifting of facial contours.
Rodial's Dragon's Blood and Glamoxy Snake range will be used in both facials, with Dragon's Blood products said to be the non-invasive dermal filler alternative to Glamoxy Snake's Botox.
Both facials will involve cleansing with Rodial Dragon's Blood Cleansing Water, a lymphatic facial massage, an optional extraction procedure, a mask and radiofrequency treatment, followed by a pampering post-facial application of a suite of Rodial products.
The Rodial Instant Tone Facial ($120 for 45 mins) and Rodial Signature Facial ($300 for 60 mins), are available at Sccube the Apothecary (website/Facebook), #05-25A Ngee Ann City. For appointments, please call .
