La Martina may not be a household name in Singapore yet but that will soon change when the Argentine polo fashion brand opens its first flagship boutique at Marina Bay Sands.

The polo brand is well-known in the polo world for its technical equipment and stylish and performance-driven clothing. That's to be expected from the same brand that outfits the Havard, Yale, Oxford and Cambridge university polo teams.

But besides performance wear, shoppers will find that La Martina offers a lifestyle range of polo T-shirts, leather boots and more. The looks are sophisticatedly preppy without losing the brand's sportswear heritage ‒ polo is after all, traditionally a prestigious game. Plus, we got wind that womenswear won't be relegated to a sorry one-rack affair. Sweet polo dresses, smart button-downs, sexy booties and pants cut just like flattering riding jodphurs are pieces shoppers can look forward to browsing through at the new store.

The 2,200 square feet La Martina store at Marina Bay Sands will be done up in Anglo-Argentine classical vintage style, with traditional wood furniture, Persian carpets, and black-and-white archive photos of polo players and tournaments. The interior fuses the refined English history of the polo sport with La Martina's rustic Anglo-Argentine background - it will just be like walking into an exclusive polo club.
