David Weiner's latest sound system retains race car sensibilities
by Luxury-Insider.com|16 September 2013

The limited edition Art.Suono Ipod Sound System is a luxury audio instrument from David Wiener Ventures that aspires to be a contemporary décor item.

The Art.Suono functions as a docking station for the iPod and transmits audio wirelessly to a sound system of your choice. The audio source isn't restricted to iPods; the system promises to work with PCs, CD players, as well satellite radios.

Boasting the company’s proprietary DWC-APHEX circuitry – an acoustic technology that gives “live” acoustics to a piece of recorded music – the system balances bass and harmonics for a full-bodied sound sensation.

The Art.Suono is the follow-up to David Wiener's Ferrari-inspired Art.Engine collection.

To show that it has lost none of its race car lineage, the Art.Suono sports an  “Engine Start” power button and the “Shift” input signal switch. The entire unit is also five solid pounds of machined aluminium and carbon fiber accents.

The Art.Suono will be available in October 2008 from David Wiener Collection authorized retailers at US$1,499.
