Taipei, Taiwan: Taipei 101 unveiled an exclusive VIP club this week.
All you have to do to qualify for a year's membership is spend NT$1.01 million ($44,241) in a single day.
Located on the world's second tallest building's sixth floor, the NT$60 million, 200 ping (1 ping is 36 square feet) club cites privacy as its most important asset, boasting a VIP-only parking lot.
Each member is also provided with a key which activates a private elevator to transport them directly into the club.
Having arrived, members can indulge in fresh desserts, and enjoy fine arts, a NT$6 million sound system, private dressing rooms, and complimentary Chanel spa products — while the latest luxuries are delivered to them in a private showroom.
Club marketing director, Lee Ya-ping, said that the 1,000 member only club has just 200 spaces left.
The club's existing 800 members were permitted to join after spending NT$500,000 during a private watch event last September — since when the minimum spend has risen to NT$1.01 million.
The mall is expecting to generate an extra NT$1 billion from the 1,000 VIP members.
Around 40 percent of its current members are men working in the finance, electronics and business sectors, said Lee.
Taipei 101's VIP club is not the first.
