10. Robin Yanhong Li, 44 (China) - net worth: US$4.9 billion (S$6.2 billion) Robin Li is the co-founder of China's largest online search engine, Baidu. He started the company with partner Eric Xu in 2000. Before that, he was a software developer for US tech firms IDD and Infoseek in Silicon valley. Baidu, which also offers online services like mapping and encyclopedias, was the first Chinese company to be listed on the Nasdaq 100 Index in 2007, reported CNBC. Li's wife, Melissa Ma (above), also has shares in China's most popular search engine company.  Li is the youngest self-made billionaire in this CNBC's list of richest Asian entrepreneur list. He is married with four children.
9. Sunil Mittal, 55 (India) - net worth: US$$6.5 billion (S$8.2 billion) India's eighth richest man, Sunil Bharti Mittal, is the founder of Bharti Enterprises and chairman of India's largest mobile service provider Bharti Airtel. According to CNBC, then 18-year-old Mittal founded the group in 1976 as a bicycle parts manufacturer with less than US$500 from his father.
