Singapore - Hong Kong celebrity Gigi Leung celebrated the unveiling of French jeweller Cartier's exquisite exhibition inspired by flora and fauna with local socialites on Aug 2.
The Cartier Naturellement exhibition is held at the second level of the ION boutique which was transformed into a bejewelled safari with the centrepiece being the iconic life-size panther with a diamond encrusted tail.
Introduced in 1914, the panther is a timeless symbol of the French jeweller house.
At the exhibition, guests admired the exquisite display of jewellery which spanned across their Caresse d'Orchidee, Panthere de Cartier and Oiseau Libéré collections, which also included other floral designed pieces. Special 'Tradition' creations which were re-acquired and restored were also displayed at the event.
Highlights of the exhibition included a pearl necklace with a 414-carat carved rubelite flower and a 968.07-carats ruby-beaded necklace with a diamond set dragon head.
Guests also discovered the heritage and know-how of the French Maison in creating these extraordinary artistic creations.
Founded in 1847 in Paris, Cartier is one of the world's most respected brands for luxury jewellery.
The Naturallement exhibition has been extended until Aug 14 and is open to the public.
