Enthusiasts of Steinway Lyngdorf can rejoice with the release of Steinway & Sons Model C Music System.
Conceived from the same DNA as the flagship Model D Music System, the Model C features two floor-standing dipole speakers and twin boundary woofers, as well as the same iconic, pedestal head-unit as presented with the signature Model D.
Founder of Steinway Lyngdorf, Peter Lyngdorf, said they recognised that their customers, both individuals and commercial establishments, appreciated a music system that would offer the same exceptional sound quality as the Model D but would be ideal for more intimate, compact listening spaces.
Existing owners of the Model D Music System also expressed their desire to acquire additional systems that encapsulated the DNA of the Model D but would fit into different living spaces such as their bedrooms or dining rooms. So, "the Model C is created to fulfill precisely this need while adhering to all of our uncompromising core values", added Mr Lyngdorf.
Offering studio-quality sound, the Model C is particularly ideal for music lovers especially jazz, blues and R&B with strong bass sounds as they are further enhanced by the twin boundary woofers.
The Model C Music System utilises the same fully digital amplification technology presented in the Model D system. With this technology, the listener is assured of outstanding sound quality at any volume, the elimination of distortion commonly experienced in analog amplifiers and allows for very low power consumption. The electronics do not heat up and owners can enjoy enhanced longevity, according to Steinway Lyngdorf. It takes approximately eight weeks to assemble a single Model C system, similar to the Model D.
Its patented, three-dimensional room adaptation technology, called RoomPerfect, is also incorporated in the Model C system enabling it to adapt to the acoustic characteristics of the listening environment.
The Model C Music System is presented in elegant, classic black lacquer as well as a broad range of customised wood or coloured lacquer finishes to reflect its customer's personal taste and home decor styles. Steinway Lyngdorf also extends a bespoke service where the most exquisite finishes are made available on a one-on-one consultation basis to individuals who seek a unique finish to complement their signature home styles.

Good news for those who feel the fear of an outdated system - the Model C Music System can be conveniently upgraded to allow it to stay up-to-date with the latest digital platforms. With regards to accidental damage to any part of the system, the intelligent modular approach in development allows for only the damaged part to be repaired or changed instead of a full replacement of the whole component.
With its desire to be part of a sustainable global development, Steinway Lyngdorf seeks to abide by international environment guidelines from the selection of raw materials, manufacturing process to responsible disposal.
If you are a discerning music lover and a connoisseur of objects of ultimate quality, beauty and performance, the Model C Music System is definitely for you.
