Hip hop legends to perform in Singapore
by Simran Panaech, Plush|30 July 2012

Adidas has always been associated with hip hop especially spotting their kicks on some music legends feet.

And a great way to celebrate their constant collaboration of music and fashion is to throw a party to celebrate all things Adidas and hip hop.

Come Aug 16, 2012, Heavy Boogie Productions, in collaboration with Singapore's Matteblacc collective, will rock Singapore with the Breathe and Stop Tour, presented by adidas Originals.

For the first time ever, three of hip hop's most influential DJs - Ali Shaheed Muhammad (A Tribe Called Quest/Lucy Pearl), Shortkut (ISP/Beat Junkies/Triple Threat), and Maseo (De La Soul) - will bring the house down with the realness, shaking up Zouk's dance floors.

The event will also feature local acts - top hip hop DJ Drem of Matteblacc, recording artist Vanessa Fernandez, and percussionist Aidan Bamrah (Bamrah Brothers).

Ticket prices are $35 in advance, and $45 at the door. Each includes one free standard drink.

You can get your tickets at http://apesnap.com/event/breathandstoptour and advance sale tickets are also available in adidas retail stores across Singapore.

For more information, go to http://www.facebook.com/BreatheAndStop or http://matteblacc.com/2012/07/11/breatheandstoptour/

Singapore is one of the stops in the Southeast Asia tour. Other stops include Bangkok and Manila.

Come and join the party!
