Heineken Green Room celebrates a decade of progressive music
by Plush|07 August 2012

Topping the list of must-go events on the musical calendar for 2012 is the 10th anniversary celebrations for Heineken Green Room on Aug 10 at Zouk.

Heineken Green Room was first introduced in 2002 to an exclusive community of music buffs.

Heineken wanted to create a one-of-a-kind platform where members could connect with each other and the brand could also engage with members at the same time.

Heineken has since established its status as a music-thought leader since its early days till what it is now, synonymous with a dedication to bring progressive music acts such as The Gaslamp Killer, The Rakes, Moderat, Kode9 and most recently, Jamie Woon to our shores.

Fans familiar with the Heineken Green Room concept will have great expectations for the upcoming party.

After all, they've a history for holding parties at obscure locations with a spectacular showcase of theatrical effects that would take partygoers on a unique experience without fail each time.

For the Heineken Green Room 10th Anniversary, Zouk will be transformed into a themed musical playground.

Inspired by the classic fairy-tale Wizard of Oz, Heineken Green Room brings to life the Tin Man on a quest for the heart of music.

The Tin Man with a Heineken Green Room twist will take partygoers on the green brick road journey of endless discovery for the passion for cutting edge music.

Would the Tin Man find the heart for music at the party?

Heineken believes that party rapper Spank Rock and personality-driven Drums of Death will reignite the passion for music once again, wrapping up the decade of progressive music on a high note.

Join the quest with the Tin Man taking the lead this Friday Aug 10.

Back to Zouk, where it all began.
